ZENTANGLE® Inspired Art Class

You’re invited to the MapTangling on Bijou Tiles Zentangle inspired art online class with Nancy Domnauer, Certified Zentangle Teacher.

MapTangling is a captivating Zentangle inspired art technique with incredibly appealing results.

In this class, we’ll apply vibrant watercolors to 10-15 Bijou tiles. We’ll then tangle beautiful patterns on approximately 7 of the tiles during the two-and half-hour class. 

After tangling beautiful patterns, we'll gather our artwork to begin building a keepsake mat-board collection filled with our MapTangling artwork and Bijouisms. We’ll build our collection during the last 15 minutes of class. The mat-board project is optional. You may watch during class then decide later to purchase one and make your collection.

Students may continue adding more Bijou and Bijouism tiles after class.

New to MapTangling? I will open the class 10 minutes early to teach my MapTangling technique.

This class will be video recorded.

Students may pre-purchase their own mat-boards from a source given by the instructor. We will place our completed tiles onto our matboards during the last 15 minutes of class. If you don’t have the mat-board, you may skip this portion of the class.

Supplies to Bring to Class:

· 10-15 Bijou tiles;

· Micron 01 or PN black ink pen;

· Gold Gelly Roll™ pen;

· Set of quality watercolors (My favorite brand will be shared upon registration. Any set of quality watercolors - that allow tangling upon the watercolors once they’re dry – will be fine.)

· Water-brush, medium nib;

· 2 tubs of water to rinse brushes;

· Your pre-purchased 12x12 mat board (source given upon registration);

· 3-5 Bijouism tiles (available from Zentangle.com);
